Before showering, go for a walk around the neighborhood or do a few crunches. Whatever you choose, make fitness a daily habit for at least two months (sociology studies show the average time to establish a new habit is approximately 66 days). You’ll be well on your way to a healthy lifestyle after two months of consistent exercise!
  •  Utilize Virtual Classes – There’s no reason to drag yourself to the gym and humiliate yourself in front of mirrors and onlookers. Because of the Internet, personal trainers have come to you! With virtual classes and apps at your fingertips, you can try out the latest routines, new sports equipment, and even dance in the comfort of your own living room. Many of these online opportunities offer free trial periods, which allow you to try out new things without committing to a membership. The cat will be the only one in the audience who will raise an eyebrow at your amazing Zumba moves.
  • Maintain a Healthy Diet – Don’t start groaning and swiping left yet!   • Stay Motivated  – Everyone experiences times when they are tired or discouraged. Do you have a strategy in place to keep yourself motivated during difficult times? If you’re still having trouble, consider finding a workout buddy or signing up for a fitness group app to hold you accountable. Use that sense of community to motivate and inspire you!
